How are SMS messages and AI voice minutes counted?
An SMS message is one outbound text PepperSend sends to a caller. An AI voice minute is one minute of AI-handled voice conversation, billed in fractional increments. A typical missed-call follow-up uses 4 to 6 SMS messages. A typical AI voice answer is 2 to 3 minutes.
What happens if I go over my monthly included usage?
On Medium, Hot, Extra Hot, and Inferno, overages are billed at $0.03 per SMS and $0.40 per AI voice minute. You will never lose a caller mid-conversation. On Mild (PAYG) there is no included bundle, just the platform fee plus pay-as-you-go usage.
Do I need to change my phone number?
No. PepperSend connects to your existing VoIP phone system via API. You keep your current business number, your current provider, and simply add AI conversation capability on top. Setup takes under 5 minutes.
Is there a one-time setup fee?
Yes. There is a one-time setup fee of $25 per company plus $10 per user seat, charged once at account creation. This covers your VoIP integration, knowledge base configuration, and onboarding. There are no recurring setup charges after that.
Is there a trial period?
Yes. New accounts get 90% off their first month. Plans start at $15/mo after that.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. All plans are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel anytime from your dashboard and you will not be charged again. Your service continues until the end of the billing period.
What is the difference between PepperSend and a basic missed call text back tool?
